Electric Bibliotheque Cafe is the passion project of Jonathan Snyder & Liza Patriana, and was born in 2013 out of their love for food, creativity, entertaining, community, and the act of sharing a communal meal. The Los Angeles based underground supper club aims to create and foster a unique communal experience through the act of breaking bread with other diners - friend or stranger - ideally leading to inspiring conversations and connections.
Food, cooking and entertaining played a huge role in both of their households growing up. When the duo first met, Jonathan was working in fine dining restaurants after being a touring musician since he was a teenager. Liza was whipping up small batches of baked goods on the side to satisfy her sweet tooth and hosting small gatherings that always involved delicious food.
After trying out recipes and dishes at home together and hosting informal dinner parties for friends, they decided to open this up to more people and host regular, donation-based dinners.
EBC dinners took a hiatus in 2015 so that Jonathan could focus on launching Parkman Woodworks and Liza can fulfill her dreams of running the EBC Bake Shop.
